Grimethorpe in EMI Abbey Road Studios in 1981 conducted by Carl Davis with Ray Farr in close attendance. Look closely to find Peter Roberts, Bryan Smith, Nick Childs and Stan Preistley.

1989 Proms Concert at RAH with the NYBB conducted by Sir Charles Groves. Alan was guest soloist, but the Principal Cornet was Mark Wilkinson now of Fodens.

One definitely for the album. Alan and James Morrison on a joint tour of Australia in 1991. People in England just didn't believe this guy. What a musician!
Grimethorpe`s victorious London 1992 band although the conductors pictured are Elgar Howarth and Garry Cutt. Frank Renton was the conductor of the winning performance of ` A New Jerusalem ` by Philip Wilby. To redress the balance here is Frank.
