SONAR BRASS
The successful brass quintet, SONAR, have now established themselves as leaders in this demanding gendre of music. The players who make up SONAR Brass are as follows:-
Cornets: Alan Morrison and Richard Marshall
Horn: Owen Farr
Trombone: Nick Hudson
Tuba: Shaun Crowther
Philip Biggs will exclusively handle the management of SONAR Brass.

The quality of SONAR Brass speaks for itself. Alan Morrison previous principal cornet of Brighouse & Rastrick, and Richard Marshall, principal cornet of Grimethorpe Band, and both former members of Sandstorm Brass. Owen Farr is making a big reputation as principal horn of Williams Fairey Band. Nick Hudson, also formerly of Sandstorm Brass, has an enviable international reputation as a fine trombone soloist. Tuba player, Shaun Crowther, who has recently been playing with many major orchestras, was until recently a member of Williams Fairey Band.
SONAR Brass are now taking engagements for concerts and educational work such as masterclasses and workshops and can be booked by contacting Philip Biggs on 01223 234090. SONAR Brass will perform a highly varied repertoire, which will consist of transcriptions of brass band classics and music from the Beatles to Gabriel.
